Welcome back to our series of recaps for the 2024 Becoming the Business Retreat for Wedding Planners 2024, a business conference for women! Today, we’re diving into the highlights of Saturday, January 27th, where we hosted the much-anticipated “Planners in Pajamas” event.

Vision Comes to Life

Our vision for the evening was clear: to create a big slumber party atmosphere, sprinkled with education, inspiration, and lots of fun. And let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations!

A Night to Remember

The Planners in Pajamas event was the epitome of blending inspiration, education, and camaraderie. From the moment attendees stepped into the ballroom, they were greeted with an atmosphere buzzing with excitement and anticipation.

2024 Becoming Retreat Evening Keynote by Shaun Teague

The evening kicked off with a captivating keynote by Shaun Teague, sharing her journey of building her company while working full-time. Her story resonated deeply with every attendee, inspiring them to pursue their dreams relentlessly. What stood out the most was how she invited planners up who had questions to sit with her on the sofa, creating an intimate and interactive experience that left a lasting impression on everyone.

2024 Becoming Retreat Special Guest Business Pros

We invited a few of our favorite pros to provide information as well as inspiration:
I. Tevin Acklin – The Silent Bestman: Provided tips on how to best service the groom, ensuring that planners are equipped to handle all aspects of wedding planning with expertise and finesse.

II. Sparkle and Sass by Stacie: Discussed the different gown silhouettes and bustles, offering valuable insights for planners when working with brides on their wedding attire.

III. Beauty by Bee: Conducted makeup demos that planners can do for themselves to ensure they are presentable and representing their brand with confidence.

IV. Life Styled by Abbria: Discussed the importance of dressing for your brand, emphasizing the role of personal style in establishing a professional image.

Sweet Treats and Fun Activities

But the fun didn’t stop there! We were treated to delightful offerings from:

Luxe Bounce: Made the planners embrace their inner child as they bounced their way back to simpler times.

Wonder Soiree: Brought the cutest hot cocoa and treat cart, adding a touch of sweetness to the evening.

Whimsy Lens: Customized a photo booth template perfect for all the fun photos that planners and speakers took throughout the night.

Setting the Atmosphere: DJ Tay played an amazing set for everyone to get up and moving while our Planners in Pajamas emcee Jason Carey kept the party going with an all-out dance session that was the hit of the evening.

Pajama Party Rule

The only rule we had for the night was that everyone had to wear pajamas or lounge wear, adding to the cozy and relaxed atmosphere of the event.
