Need to add a little amusement into your planning journey? You’ve come to the right place, well, page.  Amongst all this planning, it would be nice to have some time with your girls and focus on enjoying your final single days. If you are looking for some great bonding ideas, I have a few suggestions.

The Spa

A spa day or weekend is the perfect activity for relaxing and spending quality time with your bridal party. It is highly probable that you are really stressed out at this time anyway.   What better excuse is there than to go before your wedding.  If your wedding day is near mindful of getting new special treatments, you wouldn’t want an allergic reaction or complications.  If you are in Atlanta, check out the spa at the Four Seasons, they have a variety of packages to choose from!

The Weekend Retreat

Aside from the spa, you may want to get away from reality for a weekend retreat experience.   This is a good bachelorette party option too.   Who said you only have “1” night to celebrate?   Pick a place you want to go with your girls for the weekend and make the plans.   If you are looking in to stay in Georgia, I have 2 recommends:

The Retreat

This is a beautiful private lakeside getaway in Ball Ground, GA  that you can stay at and do various activities.   The 6000sf house is big enough for everyone to feel right at home while on a mini-vacay.

 Chateau Elan

This is a winery resort in Braselton.  There are ample attractions such as bars, restaurants and a beautiful pool.  The resort offers activities such as wine tasting, tours, cooking and painting classes. The possibilities are endless.

Escape Room

This is a great experience for team building if you and your bridal party are looking for something more active and adventurous.  It allows you to exercise your mind in a competitive environment.  If you are into these kinds of activities, this is the match for you.   If you are in the Atlanta area check out Big Escape Rooms or Breakout Games  there are plenty to choose from depending on your desired theme and room choice. Concert or Comedy Show

Maybe your love LIVE entertainment, dancing and laughing.  All great stress relievers. (Once we get through this pandemic) there are numerous concert venues and comedy clubs to choose from.  Just look up your favorite entertainer, pick the date, and book the tickets.  If you are in the Atlanta Area, I suggest these comedy clubs:  Uptown Comedy Corner or The Punchline Comedy Club. Of course, you can always research some other options based on your specific taste.

Attend a Paint Night

If you are feeling creative this will cure the crave. You don’t have to be a Picasso to enjoy this kind of activity. With most paint nights, the instructor tells you what strokes to make and you can follow along with a glass of wine in hand.   What can be better than that?   If you are in Atlanta, Painting with a Twist has some interesting selections to choose from. The portrait depends on the day you choose. 

Brunch and Share

You cannot go wrong with delicious brunch cuisine and mimosas.  If your bridal party is not well acquainted with each other, this is an opportunity for them to meet and learn about each other.   It can also be a pre-bridal luncheon.   If you are in the Atlanta area, some delicious spots are Sun in my Belly and Four Seasons.

Hopefully, these suggestions have given you some fun and out of the box ideas, on all the fun you can have before the wedding day.  Don’t be afraid to be original and plan a day or weekend with your girls.  Be sure to do your homework and ensure that the locations you have selected are following all CDC guidelines.
