October is a beautiful time of year for a wedding. With the crisp autumn air and the leaves changing colors, there are a million ways to celebrate your special day in style. Our couple this week went warm and intimate with an elegant finish at The Starling Hotel in Midtown Atlanta.
The Starling Hotel is such a versatile venue right in the heart of midtown! This hotel venue’s amazing location allowed the couple a convenient and fun meet and greet at the Politan Row food hall at Colony Square, which is connected to the hotel! This is something we are seeing often, cutting down on the transportation chaos and choosing a venue that can be all-encompassing! Anamaria and Wilson decided to have an intimate ceremony, a semi-outdoor cocktail hour, and an elegant reception overlooking the dazzling lights of midtown.
Ceremony
The power of draping is never to be underestimated! Tinted Event Design and Productions did an amazing job throughout the design process of finding what the couple wanted out of their day and how to best play around the venue to design an event that felt personal. We love the way the draping and minimal design truly sets a warm stage for Anamaria and Wilson.
The Starling Hotel was once again the perfect canvas for a stunning city wedding. With a meeting room transformed into a warm and cozy ceremony space, the focus remained on the couple and their vows to one another.
Reception
The design of this wedding was very intentional in both the colors and floral choices. Something classy, fun, and lively just like our couple that is always laughing and bringing smiles to others. With rich greenery, baby’s breath, and classic white roses this reception was like a garden oasis right in the middle of the city.
We see pops of burgundy alongside these florals as it complements the organic greens and whites so well. As the group was a little shy of 150 the couple was able to add details to further amplify their guests’ experience.
Nothing says black tie formal like being directed to your seat glowing in the candlelight. A personalized menu with your name and dinner selection for the evening is just the icing on top!
Once settled in the reception area guests enjoyed the champagne wall and prepared for the culinary dining experience to begin. This dance floor was almost as mesmerizing as the views of the bustling city below. If this dance floor doesn’t say “party all night but make it classy” I don’t know what does! DJ Toryn of Exquisite Sounds Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all night.
The night was celebrated away with sorority and fraternity dances, heartfelt toasts, and smiles to last a lifetime. The duality of this event spoke so beautifully to Anamaria and Wilson. A soft and intimate ceremony complimented by nothing less than a luxurious evening reception.
