Consider the following when researching venues: 

1.  Choose a venue that aligns with your vision and theme- if you are planning a traditional wedding look at elegant ballrooms, country clubs, historic venues or hotels.
   
2. A venue that fits your vision/style will enhance the design and your wedding will feel more connected to the space.
3. What is all included? This is one of the most important questions when researching venues. It will help you compare all the venues you are considering.

Venues typically  fall into one of two categories:

All Inclusive (Full Service): can include “EVERYTHING” you need to have the perfect wedding all under one roof. Multiple event spaces to host your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception to provide in-house catering, tables, chairs, linens, china and even decor.

Blank Canvas (Limited Service): the dream space for the couple who want to create a unique experience. Although venue rental fees may be less than full service spaces, keep in mind the additional cost of transforming a raw space into your dream wedding venue. It will require managing the caterer, rentals, setup/breakdown, etc. Most couples end up hiring a Wedding Planner or Month-Of Wedding Coordinator to assist with the planning and execution.
