Sunday morning commenced with a captivating session on Luxury Customer Service by Duane Tyndale. This highly popular session, led by Duane Tyndale, the COO of ITWE and husband of Irene, provided invaluable insights into delivering unparalleled client experiences. Attendees engaged in discussions about how spouses/partners can better support their business-owner partners. The session emphasized the significance of providing an excellent planning experience to all clients, regardless of their profile. Becomers Brunch: A Soulful Experience

The second highlight event of the day was the “Becomers Brunch,” curated by Henry Tapia, Executive Chef at the Epicurean Hotel Atlanta. Attendees were treated to a delightful culinary journey accompanied by soulful sounds from Pro Tools Entertainment.

2024 Becoming Retreat Brunch Keynote by Jon’ll Boyd

The highlight of the brunch was the empowering insights shared by keynote speaker Jon’ll Boyd, a former Event Planner turned winemaker and life purpose coach. Her talk, titled “Calling You Out & Into Purpose,” encouraged attendees to embrace their potential and walk into their purpose with confidence.

The overall theme of the weekend was based on Wine and the wine-making process. The Epicurean Hotel Atlanta’s focus on elevated food and beverage perfectly complemented this theme. The Grand Cru Ballroom, adorned with ceiling light fixtures resembling grapevines, and each floor decorated with wine crate LEDs, set the stage for an immersive experience. Therefore, it was only fitting that we curated a “Tuscan-inspired Brunch Theme,” transporting attendees to the vineyards of Tuscany with every bite and sip.

Designing the Event Experience

Following the brunch, the talented ladies of LesLo Events shared their expertise on Designing the Event Experience. Planners were enthralled to learn about the planning and design process, gaining insights into providing comprehensive services for their clients without needing to be floral experts. The session explored LesLo Events’ process and the tools they utilize to create memorable event experiences.

Embracing the CEO Mindset

The weekend concluded with a reflective session on embracing the CEO mindset and charting a path to success. Attendees were prompted to reflect on their personal and professional growth throughout the retreat. Irene facilitated a thought-provoking discussion by asking each planner, “What are you Becoming?” This introspective exercise led to a deeper exploration of setting goals for the upcoming quarter, learning to outsource and leveraging the knowledge and insights gained over the weekend.
