Gentlemen, I hope we are feeling amazing! I wanted to spend some time talking about the importance of being a Groomsmen and furthermore having the esteemed honor of being someone’s Bestman. We are going to break down some of the do’s, don’ts of being a part of someone’s big day. So, sit back, have a drink of choice handy, and smoke ’em if you got ’em.
Groomsmen are so important to the wedding day. They share memories and lived experiences with the Groom, the wedding party as a whole, and even the guests in most cases. Your role is very vital and a great reflection of the Groom.

Getting the fitting done on time gives you a nice buffer. Nothing in this world is perfect and suit fittings can happen once, twice, or even three times depending on how you would like your garment to fit and what is the overall appearance of the Groom’s party as a whole. Give yourself the space to be critical about your appearance.
Traveling is almost a sure thing when it comes to any wedding. This could be for the wedding itself or the bachelor party. Being prepared is making sure that you know when you are leaving, how you are leaving, and where you are headed. We all have one friend who wants to relive “The Hangover.” Let’s let our Groom live his dream with his friends and be prepared by getting those travel accommodations done early!
When it comes to understanding what the plan is, an old-fashioned meeting is in order. The meetings that you have covers the most commonly asked questions: Where you need to be? Who you are with? How much is this going to cost? All relevant questions that might determine your participation in the wedding don’t be afraid to ask the questions and give your answers. They might be a no for a number of different reasons. However, you cannot be aware of what you are signing up for if you weren’t present during the meeting.
Gents, this is a wedding! Remember that you and your favorite championship team share something very important in common. Do you know what that is? Everyone has their position to play and your Groom is the captain. Also remember that doing too much caused J.R. Smith looked even goofier than he already was during the playoffs. Relax because once the play is set in motion you just have to make sure you are not in the way of the winning score.

The Bestman is a huge honor but it is not as difficult as people make it to be. The best way that you can be all that you can is by doing these:
As you can see there’s more to being the Bestman and Groomsmen than showing up in a tux. The Groom chose you, his closest friends and relative to send beside him on HIS day so be the best version of yourself to support him and his Bride.
If you have any other questions, whether you are a Groom, Bestman, Groomsmen or Bride please feel free to contact Tevin Acklin, The Silent Bestman for Grooms Concierge services.
